Refund Policy

1. No Automatic Right to a Refund

All services provided by BVS Automotive Electrical involve skilled labour, time, specialist equipment, and professional expertise.

As such, there is no automatic right to a refund once work has commenced, including diagnostics, testing, programming, or electrical investigation.

2. Diagnostics & Investigation Fees (Non-Refundable)

  • Diagnostic, fault-finding, testing, and investigation fees are non-refundable.

  • Diagnostics involve time, expertise, and equipment use, regardless of outcome.

  • A diagnosis does not guarantee that a fault can be repaired, resolved, or permanently eliminated.

Once diagnostic work has been carried out, no refund will be issued.

3. ECU Programming, Coding & Remapping

  • ECU programming, coding, and remapping services are non-refundable once started.

  • These services involve irreversible changes, time, and specialist processes.

  • No refunds will be given remembering:

    • Performance gains are not guaranteed

    • Software updates may expose pre-existing faults

    • Manufacturer systems and limitations apply

4. No Refunds for Unsuccessful Repairs

Due to the complexity of automotive electrical systems:

  • A repair attempt does not guarantee success

  • Additional or underlying faults may exist

  • Some issues may reoccur or change

No refund will be issued solely because a fault could not be repaired or returns at a later date, provided work was carried out with reasonable care and skill.

5. Pre-Existing, Hidden & Related Faults

No refunds will be provided where issues arise due to:

  • Pre-existing faults

  • Wear and tear

  • Corrosion

  • Previous poor repairs

  • Aftermarket modifications

  • Manufacturer defects

Electrical systems may fail before, during, or after work due to their existing condition.

6. Mobile Call-Out Fees

  • Mobile call-out fees are non-refundable once attendance has occurred.

  • If access to the vehicle is denied, unsafe, or unsuitable, the call-out fee still applies.

7. Parts & Components

  • No refunds are given on installed parts once fitted.

  • No refunds are given on customer-supplied parts.

  • Electrical components are sensitive and may fail without warning.

8. When a Refund May Be Considered

A refund may only be considered if:

  • We have clearly failed to carry out the agreed service with reasonable care and skill, and

  • We are given the opportunity to inspect and, where possible, rectify the issue first.

Refunds are at our discretion and limited to the value of the service paid.

9. Exclusions

We do not refund for:

  • Change of mind

  • Customer expectations not being met

  • Delays caused by parts availability or third parties

  • Issues unrelated to our work

10. Chargebacks & Disputes

Unjustified chargebacks may be disputed using:

  • Job records

  • Diagnostic reports

  • Communication logs

  • These Terms & Conditions

11. Acceptance

By booking, paying for, or allowing work to proceed, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Refund Policy.
