1. Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to BVS Automotive Electrical.
“Customer”, “you”, or “your” refers to any individual or business using our services.
“Vehicle” refers to any car, van, or light commercial vehicle provided to us for inspection, diagnostics, repair, programming, or remapping.

2. Scope of Services

We provide automotive electrical services including, but not limited to:

  • Vehicle diagnostics

  • Electrical fault finding

  • ECU programming, coding, and configuration

  • Wiring repairs

  • Module replacement

  • Battery drain and network diagnostics

  • Mobile and workshop-based services

All services are carried out based on the information and access provided by the customer.

3. Diagnostics & Fault Finding

  • Diagnostic services involve investigation and testing based on symptoms present at the time of inspection.

  • Diagnostics are not a guarantee that all faults within a vehicle will be identified.

  • Additional or hidden faults may exist, including pre-existing or intermittent issues.

  • Diagnostic fees are payable regardless of repair outcome.

4. Pre-Existing & Hidden Faults

  • Vehicles may have pre-existing faults, modifications, wear, corrosion, previous poor repairs, or manufacturing defects.

  • We are not liable for the failure of components or systems that were already faulty, weakened, or degraded prior to our work.

  • Electrical systems may fail during or after diagnosis due to their existing condition.

5. ECU Programming, Coding & Remapping

  • ECU programming, coding, and remapping carry inherent risks due to vehicle software complexity.

  • We are not responsible for failures caused by:

    • Manufacturer software issues

    • Aftermarket modifications

    • Prior remapping or tuning

    • Low battery voltage

    • Faulty control modules

    • Interrupted communication

  • The customer accepts that software-related services may expose or trigger underlying faults.

6. No Guarantee of Repair

  • Due to the nature of automotive electrical systems, no guarantee is given that a fault can be permanently repaired.

  • Some faults may reoccur due to external factors or unrelated system failures.

  • Any estimates provided are non-binding unless stated otherwise in writing.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information

  • Disclose previous repairs, remaps, or modifications

  • Ensure the vehicle is safe, accessible, and legally compliant

  • Remove personal belongings prior to work

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete information.

8. Mobile Services

  • Mobile services are provided where suitable, but not all repairs can be completed on-site.

  • We reserve the right to decline or stop work if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

  • Call-out and diagnostic fees apply regardless of repair completion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • We shall not be liable for loss of use, loss of income, or business interruption

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is unlawful.

10. Warranties & Parts

  • Any warranty applies only to work performed by us.

  • No warranty is given on customer-supplied parts.

  • Electrical components are sensitive and may fail without warning.

11. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Diagnostics and call-out fees are non-refundable.

  • Unpaid invoices may result in recovery action.

12. Refusal of Work

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work at any time if:

  • The vehicle is unsafe

  • The customer behaves abusively

  • Payment terms are not agreed

  • The repair exceeds reasonable risk

13. Website Use

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
